CBSE Board Result 2025 LIVE Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results for 2025 in the coming days. Although the exact date and time of release have not been officially confirmed, previous years indicate that the results are typically published around mid-May. Once released, students can access their scorecards on the official portals — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. CBSE has cautioned students to avoid misinformation and to refer only to verified, official sources for updates.

To download their CBSE Result 2025 mark sheets, students will need to log in using their roll number, admit card number, school code, and date of birth.

Beginning with the academic year 2024-25, CBSE has adopted a Relative Grading system in place of the traditional fixed-score grading method. This change aims to ease academic pressure and promote a healthier competitive environment among students. Unlike the earlier system that assigned grades based on predefined score brackets (such as 91–100 for A1), the new format assesses a student’s performance in comparison with their peers in each subject.

This year, more than 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board examinations held from February 15 to April 4, 2025. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 18, while the Class 12 exams wrapped up on April 4.

In the previous year (2024), 22,38,827 candidates took the Class 10 exams, of which 20,95,467 cleared the exam, reflecting a pass percentage of 93.60%. Meanwhile, in Class 12, 16,21,224 students appeared and 14,26,420 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.98%.

Additionally, digital mark sheets for Class 10 and 12 students will be available on DigiLocker. Students must sign in using valid credentials to access and download their official results under the CBSE category.

Step 1. Visit digilocker.gov.in

Step 2. Select your class (10 or 12)

Step 3. Enter your School Code, Roll Number, and the 6-digit Security PIN given by your school

Step 4. Click on "Next."

Step 5. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click "Submit."

Step 6. Once verified, your DigiLocker account will be activated.

Step 7. Click "Go to DigiLocker account" to access your dashboard.

Step 8. Your CBSE Board Result 2025 will be available under the Documents section.

Step 9. If already registered, simply log in and view your results.
